Even though I didn’t have Jackson with me for the weekend of Blizzard ‘10, I did get to play with him in the snow/ice for a short while when he came back yesterday.
Last year he HATED the snow and was terrified of standing on / sitting on / touching it.
2009
This year he seemed to enjoy it --- curious about how he could play in / with it.

And he thought it was hilarious to slip/slide on the ice – and even a couple of falls didn’t make him cry. One funny story --- I was trying to hold on to him while he walked all over the driveway – one big sheet of ice. So I had him by his coat. Well he slipped, and he fell down while the hood of his jacket stayed in my hand! It was one of those removable hoods and snapped right off. Yikes…. bad mommy.
The snow was too much like ice and we couldn’t really make snowballs or snowmen. But we did have fun jumping and making big footprints, or as Jackson would say “SHOOOEEEEEE!!!!!” after we would make a print.

Helping scrape the driveway – he was determined to be a big help!
