Play Fun

Jackson has some new favorites when it comes to play --- his tricycle (yay for a yard sale find last year!), his garage and cars (thanks Vickie & Bob for the gift card!) and his "cars book."

As soon as we get home every evening, he goes straight for the tricycle and puts on his "heh-met" (helmet) and rides his tricycle (which he sometimes refers to as his bicycle as well).

(and isn't it awesome that he's making sentences now?!  "Tricycle fall down." )


I love the way he says "helmet" :)


He's just recently learned how to jump.  And of course, as always, he loves shooting the basketball in the big goal.  Luckily I lowered it enough so that I can hold him up to make one!

Another favorite thing of his is the Richard Scarry Cars & Trucks and Things That Go book.  He has to read it every night.  He loves to find Goldbug on all the pages, and the silly vehicles like pickle truck, alligator truck, etc are fun. He also loves the page that is full of fire trucks.


I had to throw this one in... one of his favorite phrases of late --- "I do it!!!"  love it when it's followed by "Mommy help"  :)
