Jackson is 2 years old (as of yesterday)! Measurements have him at 32 lbs, 37 in. Here’s a look at how he’s grown!

2 and-a-half years
Current Developmental Milestones:
- Talking ALL the time and saying new things every day. Easily carries on conversation and engages in dialogue. He will repeat almost everything he hears!
- Concepts – Alphabet: can sing ABCs; recognizes many letters visually. Counting: He can count to about 15 in English and 10 in Spanish! Colors: can identify all basic colors.
- Pretend play – starting to emerge; usually he is playing with trucks that talk and help each other out.
- Favorite toy right now – tow trucks, construction trucks, train table
- Favorite books – My Big Truck Book and Things that Go (Richard Scarry)
- Favorite TV show – Dora the Explorer
- Cute behaviors – his little man talk is adorable! He enunciates things so clearly and says things that sound so grown up like “actually,…” “no, thank you” and “disgusting.” Also, whenever he’s describing something as being big, he always exaggerates the words, like “biiigg towww truck!!” He also occasionally says “I’m so proud of you, Mommy.” Referred to Mocha (our dog) as his “best friend” the other day!
- Not-so-cute behaviors – occasional tantrums; whining!
- Potty Training – still not really showing any readiness signs, so might be a while yet!
