I’m wayyyyyyyyyy late posting this, but just for baby-bloggin’ documentary purposes….
Jackson peed in the potty the first time ever! On Sep. 11th, at 2.5 years old.
And he hasn’t done it since.
He doesn’t seem ready yet…. he doesn’t care when his diaper is dirty. He doesn’t reference needing to go. He STILL wets the bed constantly from shifting his diaper around, and that doesn’t seem to bother him either.
Or maybe I’m not ready for the intensity of potty training from the parenting perspective…. once we start approaching the “average” potty-training age of the 3rd birthday, I’ll start to get serious about it. For now, I’m focusing my mommy energy on behavior management and tantrum tactics. :)
