Snow… again!

It snowed again recently… Jackson was excited but I wasn’t particularly thrilled, especially since it impacted the work week.  We had a good 5 or 6 inches of beautiful snow, which was fun for a day, and then the usual terrible round of ice came in, and turned everything to a frigid, slippery mess.  I ended up having to work from home with Jackson for 3 days, which was difficult at times – we were both stir crazy, and even Jackson tired of all the special extra TV/DVD entertainment times.

Here are some pictures from our fun day in the snow before the ice madness set in:

I finally remembered to get a snow pic of our new house

His favorite thing to do is walk around and eat or lick snow off of every surface!

Ready….

JUMP!  there was a nice huge pile of snow at the bottom of the slide!

he loves to throw snowballs into the house :)

runnin’ and eatin’ snow :)

This time we made snow cream – I’m not a huge fan, but it seems like it’s something you’re supposed to do, and so we went for it!

a whole bowl of snow!

I MUST lick it!!!!!

Hurry up!!

Stirring it up

I didn’t really like the flavor, so Jackson had a brilliant idea to make CHOCOLATE! snow cream.  Much better :)
