NASCAR Hall of Fame

Thanks to Charlotte on the Cheap, we visited the new-ish NASCAR Hall of Fame fo’ free recently.  It was actually a lot cooler than I expected, and Jackson loved it!  I’m not sure that I’d spring for the full admission for myself and J (pretty pricey!), but it’s worth a visit every now and then on a discounted rate (or free!).  It’s not necessarily geared towards preschoolers, but there were a handful of things that really lit up J’s little face, and entertained him:

• The cars on the mock speedway, and throughout the exhibit – especially the ones that resembled characters from Cars, like Doc,” the Hudson Hornet, and “Mr. the King” Richard Petty’s car :)
• Al the little model cars and trucks in display cases – he wanted to add them all to his wish list!
• There is a small room geared towards little ones with an engine building area, a race car seat, and a racing game.
• Also buttons and cars and all kinds of things to touch – this place is very hands-on

He got so excited every time he saw model cars! 

This was one of the first big cars he saw when we went in – so exciting!  Too bad it wasn’t Rusteeze or Dynoco sponsored :)
