But then, amidst my face and head severely rejecting the notion of an impending spring, this tree suddenly, seemingly overnight, bloomed beautiful sorta-pink-sorta-white flowers in abundance. And even though I want to hate it for it's awkward lopsided, annoyingly intrusive, random placement and likely massive amounts of allergens dangerous by proximity, I just can't help but smile every time I see it. It's a gorgeous reminder that warmer weather and outdoor fun is on the horizon, and now I actually enjoy driving past it every time I come in or out of the garage. And it's nearly the first thing I see when I open my door to leave the house every day. my view when I open my door :)
