An annual tradition, we headed off to the Cleveland County Fair on opening weekend this past Saturday. What I love about the fair --- going at dusk, and riding the ferris wheel at night, the delish fair food, and seeing Jackson get excited over all the things to see and do. :) The weather was a bit on the chilly side this year, and traffic and parking a bit more cumbersome than in the past, but we still had a really good time!
Getting’ ready to chow down on some yummy fair food – hot dogs, onion rings, and diet mountain dew! Right before leaving we noshed on the obligatory powdered funnel cake and sipped hot chocolate to warm us up :)
Just a cute pic of the boy in my idle time…. hoodies are fun!
We always have to check out the farm animals….
Jackson enjoyed the cows the most (well that and just running through the barn area)
This one was especially interactive and friendly, and talkative … she licked my arm when we weren’t paying her attention! ewwwwwwwww.
We finished out the visit with some nighttime rides ~ it’s ridiculously expensive, so we keep it down to just the basic merry go round and ferris wheel experience :)
wheeeeeee!
