festival fun

We visited the Oktoberfest fall festival for our little town yesterday – I love going to this one because of the small town charm :)  It’s set up on one small street, with a mix of booths, a couple of food options, a good live band, and my favorite part – free sundrop!  The games for kids are cheap – this time it was $2 for an all-you-can-play pass, and it included the bounce houses/slides, games (with prizes), and horse-drawn hayride around the block.  We met our friends, the B family, and Jackson had a blast!

bouncing fun!

playing the whacky wheel game :)  I think J cleaned out the prize buckets of all the toy cars!  We came home with about 7!

who doesn’t love playing plinko?!

time to play games together!  Jackson & C taking turns throwing at the whacky wheel game

silly guys at lunch!  Jackson enjoying the sweet local nectar of the cherry lemon sundrop :)

me & the boy :)

deep in thought about somethin’….. probably checking out the police cars!

on the horse carriage ride – what fun!

the horses were really pretty!

had to throw this one in too… I love that the stage is on a flatbed trailer!
