Talking like CRAZY!

Jackson is saying new words every day…. I can’t keep up with them all!   Some random ones that I’ve noticed recently are:  bowl, cereal, spoon, bath, tractor, phone, sweep, butterfly, puppy, snowman, Santa, dinosaur, pig, orange, bus….

He also now says a few words more clearly; example - “tain” is sounding closer to “train” than the original “ain” :)  “hat” sounds a little better than the previous “at”… and so on.

And he’s started combining words!   Last week he said “Pappy zip” while his pappy was zipping his coat.  And his auntie said while they were at the mall he said “baby tree” while pointing at a small Christmas tree.

We are still practicing the alphabet, and he’s starting to memorize the sequence of letters.  When I say “a,” he usually goes right to “b” and there are a few other times when he’ll follow with the subsequent letter.

Also, with counting, I’ll say “let’s count” and he’ll say “un!” (one).  I have to count the rest, but he’s got that “1” down!!

I’m still waiting for him to learn to say “yuck, that’s gross!” (my auto-response when he tries to drink the bath water?)  Tonight he kind of said it; it sounded like “uck, gos!”

It will be alright with me if that’s the worst thing he ends up repeating :)
