Jacksonisms

Villain voice
I have no clue where he picked it up from, but he now talks in a villain voice occasionally.  He’ll scrunch his face up and say things like “Nothing can scare me nooowwww!” or “You’ll nevvvveerrrr catch me now!”  It’s usually funny, but not when I’m trying to ask him to follow directions or be serious :)

Bugga Bugga
Jackson has started singing along with radio songs sometimes, and has some favorites.  He misinterprets the lyrics a lot of times though --- one of his favorites is the “Goodnight song” by the Black Eyed Peas.  He also likes the “Bugga Bugga Face” song by Lady Gaga (Poker Face). :)

My Little PSA
I asked Jackson to put away some books the other night and he said, in a very PSA voice, “We need to return these books to our local library.”  Hilarious!

Builder Bob Fun
Jackson is starting to request things he sees on TV.  Luckily, we don’t watch TV with commercials, so he’s not really been exposed to the toy/cereal/marketing madness.  But he will mention wanting things he sees on the shows.  For example – Bob the Builder built a bird feeder table on one segment, and J kept asking me if we could build one at home.  “Can we please; can we, can we????”  Also fun on the show is how much he interacts now.  He sings the songs, answers the questions, and interacts often.  He loves to sing the Bob songs, and it’s frickin’ adorable when he tells each truck “good night” at the end of the show when they go in their garages.  He also talks in a Bob-the-builder voice throughout the day randomly.  He’ll just say “Can we fix it, Mommy?!” and of course, I’m supposed to respond with “YES, we can!”  I tried to reverse it on him one day with something I was trying to do (like “can we follow directions?” in the same tune)….yeah, he didn’t fall for it.
