What a fun Halloween! Jackson was really into it this year, so it made it so much more exciting! We had a weekend full of activities and excitement, including carving pumpkins (first time for both of us!), fall festival, Halloween parties, and trick or treating! Jackson was a “construction man” this year…. for a month prior to Halloween, he was obsessed with being a “trash truck driver” (his own idea 100%), so I crafted a costume using WM labels. But after wearing his reflective vest a few times, he had changed his mind and decided to be a construction worker. It worked out anyway because he was also obsessed with removing the stickers from everything, so the WM labels were gone within 10 minutes.
He loved all the slimy icky messy-ness of the pumpkins :)
Jackson’s pumpkin is on the left … the super scary face one. I showed him jack o lantern face pictures online, and THIS is the one he wanted. Aras carved it for him, and Jackson decided to name it “Scary.”

If he wasn’t sticking his finger in the smiley pumpkin’s nose, or pulling the “teeth” off of Scary Pumpkin, he was ripping the WM stickers off his costume. :)
As a construction man, he decided to go around the house and fix this sign, and the lights, and …..
He had a fab time at the festival on Saturday…but finally the official Halloween day came, and he was ready for the real-deal trick or treatin’! We went to Kira’s/Jake’s/Aras’s house to enjoy the day with friends.

Jackson had a fab time trick or treating --- he did great with his manners, saying “Trick or Treat” and “thank you” – and he kept randomly telling everyone “Happy Halloween!” He loved seeing all the older kids dressed up. He still says his favorite part of it all, when I ask him, is the “superhero” who came to Kira’s house to trick or treat after we were done (all the kids would run to the door to check it out from the “other side”).
