Charlotte Nature Museum

Thanks to a Groupon deal, we scored cheap tickets to the Charlotte Nature Museum recently.  It’s part of the Discovery Place family of museums, and it’s fab!  It’s geared toward younger kids, and is very hands-on and has lots of cool stuff.  Jackson’s favorite areas were the Insect Alley and Big Backyard areas.  We happened to go during some kind of chicken theme special, so there were live chickens and cute baby chicks to pet, in addition to all sorts of other related stuff.  They also have lots of other live animals too – turtles, birds, snakes, and other “creatures.”  This place was awesome!

We will definitely be going back to this museum! :)
