We headed out to Columbia, SC to visit the Riverbanks Zoo last weekend – yay for an awesome deal via Groupon! The last time we went to the zoo, Jackson was close to 18 months old, so I was excited to see how he would enjoy it. It was a good time! He has a limited attention span for the animals, so we would spend about 2.7 seconds on average at each exhibit :) But he did great for the first couple of hours.. he got a bit worn out, impatient, and whiny toward lunch, so we headed out at that point. All in all, good fun though!
So much energy…
The first thing he wanted to see – the aquarium! He was so excited to find a jellyfish.

Yes, I’m the awkward single mom taking a picture of us myself :)
Riding the “lizard horsey” – “giddy up!”

ICEE…. deeeeeelish.
not as successful with the self-pic this time … the boy has no patience for it :)
riding the “turtle horsey” …. giddy up again!
Jackson’s favorite thing about the zoo? Climbing on the huge rocks along the sidewalks. Hilarious.
