Well, I pulled the trigger, and FINALLY, a year after moving into the house, we have a fence! The usual indecision (which the duration and intensity typically shares a positive correlation with cost) was there… I couldn’t decide what type of fence I wanted, especially since my yard is a weird shape, not a single other house in the ENTIRE neighborhood has a fence, and a few other factors. In the end, I just settled on the split rail, which is what I had at the old house anyway, and is the most economical option amongst the ones I was considering.
