I took Jackson to Speed Street a couple of weeks ago (a NASCAR street festival every year in uptown Charlotte). We had a fun time, for sure! I’m not a racing fan, but I do love any sort of street festival with music, yummy food, and sensory overload in all ways :) Jackson especially enjoyed the State Farm Disney Cars 2 exhibit --- complete with huge real-size Cars characters, a bounce course, videos, prizes, and all sorts of other stuff!
Another bonus is we actually had a lot of fun for pretty cheap --- I parked for free in my work garage, which was only a couple of blocks off the festival! Everything at the exhibits (that we did) was free, including enjoying some mint chocolate chip ice cream samples. We bought some festival dinner for less than $10, enjoyed some free live music and a BMX stunt show. It was a blast!
