Schiele Museum Visit

The Schiele Museum had an event recently celebrating their anniversary, and everyone could get in free for the day, along with a variety of special activities not typically available at the museum.  We headed over after swim class, and it was crazy times busy!  But we still had a good time, even amongst the dense crowds :)

Jackson playing in the Caves exhibit – it was really cool, and very dark and realistic!

True to form, Jackson was enthralled with manipulative items in the exhibits, like this word scramble activity.  He practically zooms past anything that is merely for “viewing” purposes only!

More hands-on action – he took a moment to put on a little puppet show for the spectators

Once we grew tired of the crowds inside, we ventured out in the open air to the trails and outdoor exhibits.  :)

Stumps are really just jumping platforms…

picking berries and exploring the (semi-) wilderness

It’s not a complete experience outdoors until you get to diggin’ in the dirt.  errrr, gravel. :)

We always enjoy our time at the Schiele … maybe when J’s a bit older, I’ll spring for the membership!
