Jackson is much more into Legos than trains these days, so after searching out some ideas, I set off to convert his train table to a Lego table. It seemed simple enough – flip over the train board (to the non-printed side), glue down some Lego flat panels, and voila! And yep, that’s pretty much it.
The supplies – existing train table, 8 Lego panels (via the Lego online store), and some clear bonding glue.
I opted to leave an outer edge panel-free, to leave room for building, driving, or other play activity where you might want a smooth surface. It’s worked out great so far.
Finished product! It looks nowhere near this most days… it’s always loaded with Legos! :)
