Jackson and I have been keeping busy this summer, and enjoying some relaxing chill times too. He loves that we have 2 new neighbor boys that are his age, so many days are spent playing with friends that are literally just next door. He’s also enjoyed a trip to White Lake with the Collins family, a visit to the race track, fun times (still ongoing) in a local summer camp, sprinkler fun, festivals, park days, and there’s still more to come.

There’s sort of a pirate theme at summer camp, and Jackson loved the eye patch they made. He also got to visit a special Jake & the Neverland Pirates event at a mall recently, and had a blast. He’s often found pretending pirate-y things around the house these days – especially when playing with the wooden sword I brought him from my cruise to the Bahamas.

Candy Land is a good relaxing game that surprisingly keeps Jackson’s attention for more than 2 minutes.
Sometimes he gets so worn out, this happens. It’s a very rare occurrence though!
One of his favorite things – a shoulder ride to the car by Pappy every day at pick up!
He is very much into dress up and role play these days. I believe here it is some medley of Star Wars and Puss in Boots.

He had a sleepover night with one of his favorite buddies :) They had a blast.
So far, it’s been a fun-filled, albeit hot, summer!
He seems like he is having much fun. I just LOVE him!!!
